Walking Your Promise - Group Retreat (max 7 people)
- Rediscover a deeper way of feeling and connecting with the world
- Build resilience and well-being in the face of the challenges we are facing by rewilding your connection with the earth
- Dissolve the separation between yourself and nature and align with who you truly are
Deeply immerse yourself in nature, disconnect from technology and everyday demands and allow your spirit to naturally expand. Over three days, you will be gently guided to let go of habitual ways of being and thinking as you unfurl into a deeper connection with nature and yourself. Our aim is for you to fully open to the power of your inner knowing to bring new perspective and clarity to your life, work and relationships.
This retreat is a collaboration between Danny and Sarah Samuel (www.sarahsamuel.co.uk), an experienced breathwork facilitator, space holder, coach and published Mindfulness author with a passion for supporting people to connect with their true nature.
What is the difference between the group and individual retreat?
On the same site as the individual retreat, you will have your own secluded space amongst the woodland where you can get as much solitude as you like and join the campfire with Danny and Sarah if that feels like what you need. There will be up to 6 other participants spread around the woodland and we will eat communally. Whilst this is not a social event and there is no pressure to be sociable, the presence of others can be deeply supportive - even in silence.
The group retreat includes breathwork which is a gently powerful way to support your process of experiencing stillness. The effects of the group retreat are the same as for the individual retreat - that of dropping deeply into your being and sensing yourself and the world in a new way.
What to expect
A small group experience held over three days. The retreat is located in 2,000 acres of ancient woodland at the foot of May Hill in Gloucestershire.
This is a journey of letting go and opening: Letting go of technology, smart phones, clock time, daily habits and routines and the comfort of the known, to open yourself fully to nature around you and within.
You will begin by journeying deeper into ancient woodland where we find our camp for two nights under the canopy of the trees, without walls or roof. Here we set our intentions for the next days.
This retreat is carefully structured to facilitate your connection with nature through quiet time, fasting, conscious breathwork and barefoot walking. As the division between yourself and nature begins to dissolve, your body will replenish and reset. The small group number allows 1:1 support on your specific circumstance, as you need it.
Apart from the sheer power of the natural surroundings, elements that will enable you to fully experience stillness and connection include:
Breathwork: Let go of a busy mind and life to experience your breath as the gateway to inner stillness. In a beautifully held breathwork session gazing up at the tree canopy, your mind will begin to melt into the background as you come into presence with your body and your senses come alive as they respond to the natural surroundings.
Fasting: To enhance the connection with nature and the natural rhythm of the body, you are encouraged to take part in a 36 hour fast. This will allow the systems within your body to rest which supports healing, regeneration and heightened awareness.
Barefoot walking: You will be invited to feel the earth beneath your feet as you walk the cleared pathways - grounding you, connecting you with the earth's energy and rebalancing your nervous system.
Delicious vegetarian food: Made with love and joy, by Nicolas Allan an acclaimed macrobiotic chef. His conscious choice of ingredients and ability to cook outdoors, takes his food to a whole new level of flavour and nourishment.
The price for three days is £595 per person
We offer payment plans for those who prefer. If this is too much then we offer a couple of bursary places for £430. Please get in touch for more info.
If you would like to have a chat with either Sarah or Danny to get a sense of the experience and whether it's right for you then please book that here.
